The CE Byrd High School Alumni Association is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community among graduates of CE Byrd High School. Our mission is to unite alumni in support of our alma mater, empowering volunteers to engage in activities that enhance the educational experience and promote the enduring legacy of CE Byrd High School.
More About Us
MembershipMembership Dues are the lifeblood of our organization. These raise funds for teacher grants, maintenance of school grounds, alumni record keeping, among many other initiatives. Membership entitles you to the yearly issue of the Alumni High Life and cost $50/year.
DonationsDonations to the Alumni Association is tax deductible. Donations are a huge factor in making The City of Byrd head and shoulders above other schools in the state.
Memorial/Honor DonationWant to honor a lost loved one or recognize someone special with ties to The City? You can do so here. Add the notificant's name and address in the Memo Line to ensure that they are notified of the donation in their name.
Update Your InformationProvide us with your updated last name, address, telephone number and email so we can reach out to keep you informed on the latest alumni news and events! This will also ensure that the Alumni Highlife Newsletter is delivered to the proper place.

1. Did you know this fall is the 101st season of Yellow Jacket Football? From the very first kickoff in 1925 to today, Byrd has built over a century of tradition, excellence, and Jacket Pride. 💜💛
2. Byrd vs. Captain Shreve might be one of Shreveport’s biggest rivalries—but Byrd’s oldest rival is actually Fair Park, with games dating back nearly a century. That’s true Jacket history! 💜💛
3. Yellow Jacket pride goes far beyond the Hive! 🐝 Several Byrd football alumni went on to play at the college and professional level, carrying the purple & gold spirit to fields across the country. 💜💛
