In memory of Dr. B.L. Shaw, Principal of CE Byrd High School from 1970 to 1986. This scholarship celebrates the enduring legacy of excellence and honors those who have given time and leadership to their surrounding community.  It is awarded to a student who exhibits exceptional proficiency across various disciplines at CE Byrd High School.

This scholarship is given In Memory of former Byrd Principal, Grover C Koffman.  It is given to a student who has stood out to be outstanding in all that they do. Recognize an excellent student at Byrd today!

Each year a JROTC Member is awarded a scholarship which is selected by the JROTC Department Head. Help out a JROTC student today!

In Honor Byrd’s first African American graduate, Arthur Burton, this scholarship goes to an African American student who exemplifies the character of a Yellow Jacket. The recipient is chosen by the Senior Committee.

In honor former Principal, Mrs Lynne Fitzgerald, a student who excels within the neighborhood program is awarded this scholarship.  A neighborhood student at Byrd needs your help!

Each year a deserving band member is selected by the Band Director to receive a scholarship to help with band equipment. Help out a band member today!

Each year a student who excels in the arts is awarded a scholarship.  This scholarship recipient is chosen by the Art Department. 

This scholarship is awarded to a female student who shows great character and shows great Jacket Pride by being involved in lots of extracurricular activities. Help out a young lady who exemplifies a Byrd spirit!

The Pete Aldridge scholarship is awarded to a student who excels in both Science and Math. Help out a student and reward them for the efforts in these fields!
