DESCRIPTION:On the morning of June 7\, the Byrd Alumni Association will host a 5K walk/run at the school to start the day!  Runners\, walkers\, families and spectators can enjoy some exercise and entertainment throughout the neighborhood surrounding Byrd. The run will begin and end at the school and surrounding streets will be closed for the race.  Sign in for race will begin at 7am and the race will take off at 8am.  The path will include parts of Line Ave\, Unadilla\, Gilbert and Gladstone.  \nClick here to register!\n \nSponsor this event! There will also be historic memorabilia displayed throughout the school for viewing. \n \n\n\nCentennial Open House Schedule on June 7\, 2025:\n\n7:30 – 9:30 am – 5k Race\n9:00 – 10:30 am – Doors open\, explore the open campus\, visit former teachers and coaches in the Girl’s Gym\, gather with your decade in assigned classrooms where Gushers will be available for viewing\, there will be a Byrd Market where you will have the opportunity to purchase Byrd memorabilia such as t-shirts\, candles\, cups and a variety of other items\, refreshments will be available\, Top Jackets available for guided tours\n10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Assembly in Auditorium\n12:30 – 1:00 pm – Pep Rally in Big Gym\n2:30 pm – Lady Jackets Alumni Soccer Game\n\n \n\nSpecial Notes:\n1. A temporary ramp will be installed in front of the school for wheelchair accessibility\n2. There will be a designated drop-off lane in front of the school going north for those who need to be dropped off close to the front door.\n\n\nParking and Shuttle Service: 8:30am-1:00pm\n\nParking available at Kings Highway Christian Church\nParking available at the two Byrd parking lots located on Creswell\nShuttles will begin running at 8:30am and run until 1:00pm.  They will run between Sam’s Town\, Hilton\, Mall St. Vincent and the C.E. DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to invite you to the 2nd Annual Byrd Letterman’s Golf Tournament taking place on Friday\, June 5\, 2026\, starting at 10:00am at Querbes Golf Course. This is a great opportunity to reconnect\, compete\, and support Byrd – whether you’re a golfer\, family member\, or simply a fan of the Jackets! \nThe tournament will feature a flighted four-man scramble\, so players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.  Prizes will be awarded for flight winners\, hole-in-one contests\, closest to the pin (all par threes)\, and longest drive. \nSpots are limited to 30 teams and will be filled on a first come\, first served basis.  We fully expect the field to fill quickly\, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible.  The deadline to enter is May 30\, 2026.
